AIMC4 LogoThe Stewart Milne Group is the lead partner in the AIMC4 Consortium, a unique partnership that is pioneering the volume production of low carbon homes for the future.

The consortium are developing and applying innovative products, materials and processes to meet the Government Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 energy standard, through innovative fabric solutions alone, thus embedding reduced carbon emissions within the performance of the home.

Stewart Milne Timber Systems are a core partner working alongside members including Crest Nicholson, Barratt Homes and BRE to develop advanced technical solutions. Following a year of research, the first AIMC4 homes are now being built across the UK.

We invest significantly in research and development, to anticipate and shape future building trends and needs. Our research and development team works to understand market needs – both today and tomorrow – and then create homes and advance build solutions that meet them. We are developing modern methods of construction that will deliver quality, cost effective faster builds.

And we lead the way in environmentally aware homes. We’ve designed, developed and built Sigma – the UK’s first five star zero carbon home.
