“I have the confidence that Stewart Milne Timber Systems is a good organisation that appreciates the intricacies of a new developer coming onto the scene.”

“We were looking for a system that we felt could work for us, and as a public-sector organisation we had to be compliant with the procurement regulations.”
They were already a part of the EEM framework we use, so we could utilise them having gone through the tender process.  We were very impressed with the site visit we made to the factory and how it was all put together, and we enjoyed being able to talk to the people there.  Off the back of this we were very confident in their abilities.  They provided us with all the necessary advice about the quality and specification of the build due to their history of this style of work.  They were very informative and kept us up to speed with the development of the project.  At any point in time they were always very clear about where we were in terms of the project delivery.  They were very supportive.

“They’ve also assisted in our apprenticeship scheme.”
We were happy that our apprentices could be involved in the timber work and the installation of the roof trusses, which was something they needed to carry out as part of their apprenticeship portfolio.  After we had a discussion with one of the team members from Stewart Milne they made it possible.  That was helpful as our normal work load does not this type of work.  I have no reservations at all in terms of using them again.

I’d definitely recommend Stewart Milne Timber Systems...
…because I thought they were very professional and organised.  They were also exact about their timings; the delivery and programme timings were always accurate.
