Stewart Milne Timber Systems rolls out award-winning build solution

Stewart Milne Timber Systems is rolling out its innovative Sigma II Build System to a range of sectors across the UK, offering the ideal solution for not just sustainable, but also cost effective building in both the domestic and commercial property markets.

As well as achieving significant energy efficiency ratings, the BBA-approved system has been designed to enhance onsite speed of build and simplicity, offering customers a faster return on their spend and helping them maintain a steady cash-flow. Due to its offsite fabrication, the Sigma II Build System provides a number of cost benefits, including reduced site prelim costs, lower weather dependency and improved onsite predictability.

Also, as projects can be delivered up to 30% faster*, the cash cycle is considerably shortened. These characteristics, combined with its flexibility of design, mean that the system is ideal for projects of all sizes and values, across the different sectors, requiring a practical and cost effective build solution.

In terms of energy performance, the Sigma II Build System can achieve an air tightness performance expectation of 3m3/h/m2 @ 50pa. The insulation, designed to achieve U-Value of 0.12 W/m2/k with a lambda value of 0.032, offers high water resistance, long term durability, prevents thermal bypasses within the panel cavities, and carries a Green Guide A rating.
