We are delighted to announce that at the annual Barratt Scotland West Dinner in February, Stewart Milne Timber Systems was awarded the Best of Health & Safety Award. Commenting on the win, David Scott, Managing Director of Barratt West Scotland observed the high standards that Stewart Milne operate to, especially on the high-risk activities of working at height and crane operations.

Stewart Milne Timber Systems enjoy a partnership with Barratt Developments Plc which has seen them supply Barratt with off-site manufactured structures across the UK and supply in excess of 700 plots to 19 sites in the West Scotland region in 2018/19. These homes are manufactured in Stewart Milne’s factories, shipped to site and craned into place on site. Stewart Milne’s Construction Director, David Nimmo, commented: “Health and safety is of paramount importance to both Barratt and Stewart Milne, indeed it’s the number 1 priority, as the only way to build is safely. It is particularly pleasing to be recognised by a large house builder in this way and the award is testament to the close co-operation on site and at all levels between Barratt and Stewart Mine Timber Systems”.

As a company who pride themselves in exceeding regulations, Stewart Milne Timber Systems are  delighted to be recognised for their outstanding commitment to Health & Safety.
